Chapter 4:
Destiny Bond
I finally figued what I would do to beat this Ursuring. "Kamoda! Use Destiny
Bond, and take that Ursuring down with you!" I shouted. Kamoda used Destiny
Bond, glaring into the Ursuring's eyes as it body slammed Kamoda. Kamoda was
crushed under the furious bear, but it wouldn't get up. Finally, it rolled
over with dazed eyes, knocked out cold. "I can't believe it!" The boy said,
"After all of those months of training, and getting my Pokemon really
strong, THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS???!!! BEATEN BY A BEGINNER???!!!" The boy ran
away, crying his eyes out, disappointed that I beat him.
I was very proud of Kamoda for defeating such strong Pokemon, so when we got
through the grass field, winning other numerous battles, I took him to the
diner for the All You Can Eat Special in Strivick Town. By then, we were too
full of food to battle the Gym Leader, so we stayed at the Pokemon Center
for a while and slept it off. When I woke up, I heared an enormous explosion
outside. Kamoda was awakened by the massive sound, and it was really mad. We
went outside to find out what happened. The explosion came from the PokeMart
up the street. "What happened here?" I asked. "I was
working...then...BOOM!...dark figure.....MONSTER...AAAAHHH!!!" The clerk
yelled as he ran out of the burned mart. "Dark figure? maybe it was the same
one we saw in Grounder Forest." I said to Kamoda. "But we can't worry about
it right now. We need to get to the Gym and get our badge." We headed on
towards the gym, where Loren, The Leader of the Jade Badge, was awaiting my
arrival.
We finally got there, having to wait for a battle to be over before I could
test my skills as a Pokemon Trainer. When the battle was over, it was our
turn. "Another challenger?" Loren said. "Why can't you people just realize
that I can't be beaten. The only person to ever beat me was Ash Ketchum from
Pallet Town. Nobody else could possibly beat me." "Ash Ketchum? He was
here?" I asked. Ash Ketchum is my idle, so I was very honored to be in the same gym
as he was "Well I'm going to be the second to beat you!" I shouted. "I am
Tommy Henderson from Garnizshia City, and I challenge you to your second
defeat."
"Hahahahaha!!!" She just laughed at my confidence, what a stubborn son of
a..... anyways, "Let's go!". The battle began.
Of course I used Kamoda, but she used as her first Pokemon, Squirtmere, a
Water Pokemon. I figured I guess that she was a Water Pokemon Trainer.
"Alright Kamoda. We can't use any fire attacks, so lets start off with
the defensive attacks." "Defensive attacks won't work," she said, "My
Squirtmere has amazing speed, you won't be able to hit it."
