Chapter 3:


Sunrise, New Morning

 

The next morning, Kamoda and I set out for the next Town, Strivick Town, hoping to finally win our first badge. We had to go through i large field path in order to get there, and there were likely to be trainers there, just raring to battle. On our way, Kamoda and I came across a small boy wanting to battle. I figured it was his first time with his Pokemon in a real trainer battle, so I'd go easy on him. "okay," I said, "I'll accept your challenge, but it won't be easy." I thought that since I'm gonna go easy on him for his first time, I'd scare him a little. Man, was I ever wrong. "Go! Kamoda!" I shouted, raging with desire to win the battle. "That....That's what your using???" The boy said, laughing. "Let's see what you have, LITTLE BOY!" I replied.

This would be easy, or so I thought "Go! Gyarados!" He shouted. My jaw wide open in shock, I couldn't believe what I was up against. It turned out that it wasn't his first time, but it was mine. "Okay Kamoda, we can do this if we work together, I know it. hmmmm....I know! use Shockwave Attack!" Kamoda jumped into the air, then came down at raging speed towards the ground, sending a massive shockwave towards the Gyarados. What was I thinking? I've got a level 5 Pokemon up against probably, a level 29 Pokemon. But just then, I saw that the Shockwave did extreme damage to the Gyarados, causing it to faint. I was surprised. "That Kamoda is pretty good, especially for a beginner." said the boy. "Thanks," I replied, "I'm quite surprised myself." That was it. I won the battle, HAHA! I wish it were that easy. "Go! Ursuring!" He called out. I was in for it now. Without any orders, the Ursuring charged at Kamoda with a rampaging force. What would my next move be?...
