.::. Crystal > About Pokémon Crystal .::.
Crystal is the newest version of Pokémon out there. Let's say it's a continuation of Gold & Silver.
This game takes place one year after Gold & Silver. Choose as Hiro, the boy trainer you've seen already in Gold & Silver, and yet the girl trainer named Kris! You can bet that this is like Pokémon Yellow, and you can expect a lot of cool things here.
A cool thing here is that when you meet any Pokémon, a moving animation will greet you. This is much better than the still pictures.
A wooden board will appear whenever you go towards a new route or city. Then you'll always know where you are so you don't get lost!
The Goldenrod City Radio Tower has a new broadcaster named Buena. Find out her password in the night through the Radio in your PokéGear, and give her the password you recieved every night to collect points on your Blue Card for fabulous prizes.
When you thought there was no way to teach your new Gold & Silver Pokémon attacks like Thunderbolt or Ice Beam, have no fear. After you've beaten the Elite Four, a man outside of the Game Corner will teach one of your Pokémon Flamethrower, Ice Beam, or Thunderbolt for 4000 coins.
Suicune will run around Johto as soon as you free it and the others. There are specific locations, and when you're ready, you'll be put to a test, to capture Suicune and Ho-oh.
Olivine City has made a new tower, called the Battle Tower. Here, you'll battle in little tournaments with level restrictions. You can only take three Pokémon into the battle rooms. They all must be at the proper level for the chosen room. Watch out, the battles are tough!
Unown play an inportant role in Pokémon Crystal. There are many puzzles to solve. The writings on the walls give clues to what you have to do. If you don't do it, you won't be able to complete it.
Last, but not least, some Pokémon learn new moves. Some examples are like Dugtrio, who already have Tri Attack when you fight a wild one. Yanma learns Wing Attack now. As you can see, Pokémon Crystal is probably the best game for Pokémon fans. It'll be a perfect game for any Game Library.
